How do I buy my Tickets?

Tickets are $10 per duck.

Online purchasing is now closed.
A limited amount of ducks will also be available at the event, please stop by in person to adopt your duck with cash!

 

What charity does the Fox Float Benefit?
The Fox Float benefits the Alpha Mu Beta Lorie Neal Memorial Scholarship and The Changing Tomorrows Fund at The University of Rio Grande. The Changing Tomorrows Fund helps students payoff balances that are preventing them from registering for the next semester.

First Place: $1,000

What time does the Fox Float race start?
The virtual event starts at 2:00 PM EST on the Facebook Page!

​How do my ducks get in the water?
Prior to the race, volunteers place numbers on every rubber ducks! Each number
corresponds to someone who has adopted a duck. On race day, volunteers carry all the
ducks to the waterway and then dump them in at the start of the race!


​How will I know if my duck wins?
AMBAA will announce the winners live on Facebook and will contact you using the
information you provided with your duck adoption.


Can I adopt a duck for my child?
Duck adoptions must be made in the name of an adult, age 18 or older but you can note
with your donation if you would like to acknowledge another person.


​What happens to all the ducks after the race?
Volunteers collect the ducks from the event, give them each a warm bath, and rest them
until next year’s race!


​Once I adopt a duck, do I get to keep it?
No, your adopted duck will race for your chance to win fabulous prizes. You will not be
able to keep the duck after the race.


​Do I need to be present to win?
No, you can watch safely from anywhere you have Facebook access.

​How much do ducks’ cost to adopt?
Each duck adoption is a $10 donation.
